When I was outfitting the new JLUR this year, I realized I couldn't find the previous XD9i I had on my JKU. It's slightly more work dealing with the removeable control box, but once I installed it this winch is just as good as the integrated control box version I had for nearly 8 years. I want to support American manufacturing as much as I can, and Warn builds things to last in Oregon - and they have some of the best post-sale support I've heard of.
