What happens when a customer with a bone stock JK calls us here at Northridge 4×4, well lets just say the transformation is awesome!

Terry Brewer recently called us here at Northridge 4×4 to discuss the possibility of building a kick ass JK for him. Maxx and Terry went over all the build options and they concluded that the Overlanding Style fit his needs to a tee. Terry made his Jeep purchase here locally and had it delivered to the shop where the transformation began.

First off the AEV 3.5″ Dualsport suspension was installed to give it that stance Terry was looking for but the drivability he needs as this is his daily driver. Once that was complete Terry decided he like the AEV products so well he went with their Heat Reduction Hood for those long road trips during the summer months. It was decided to go with the AEV Premium front bumper and their rear bumper with the tire carrier and water water tank. Once the bumpers were on the build was coming together, with the addition of the AEV skid plates and splash guards the exterior was starting to look like Terry’s dream. With the rugged capabilities of this build it was determined Terry was going to need a winch so he went with the WARN Zeon with synthetic rope.

No build would be complete without some addition lighting power so Maxx suggested the new ARB Intensity lights for driving through the dark desert nights or the foggy winter conditions that Terry deals with in South Dakota.

To take care of the lights and lockers the SPOD was added to ensure the wiring never became an issue. You can’t be caught in the backcountry without a way to communicate either so we installed the COBRA 40 Channel CB to give Terry peace of mind while wheeling.

With the build about complete it was decided to add to add a pair of LOD frame mount rock sliders to keep this JK protected while on the trails. With the majority of the build being AEV why not go with the AEV Pintler Wheel and wrap some of the new BFG All Terrains around them!
