Factor 55 FlatLink Silver

Replace the conventional winch hook with a safer and stronger D-ring shackle thimble from Factor 55. The FlatLink shackle mount is designed to accommodate the most common winches in the market. It eliminates the possibility of your winch cable or strap falling and causing damage/injury to a vehicle or person. It is the industry's first folding shackle mount for recovery joints with less than 1.75 inches in thickness. It is compatible with all roller fairlead license plate mounting brackets.

The FlatLink works well with steel cable or synthetic winch rope of up to 3/8" in diameter, and there is no splicing that is required hence easy installation. It features a solid 5/8" diameter grade 5 steel double shear pin and internal snap ring that retains the cable eye in the FlatLink. The silver FlatLink has EPDM Rubber Guard that protects the alloy Hawse fairleads while being securely attached to the FlatLink with four barbed tips. The FlatLink cinches neatly against all types of fairleads, whether Hawse or Roller, eliminating impact abrasion at the end of the synthetic winch rope.

A: By eliminating the use of an open-ended winch hook this reduces the risk of accidental disconnects. The Closed-loop system provides a more secure and controlled recovery setup.

A: Very easy! Simply uninstall your existing hook and attach the FlatLink to the winch line using the included shear pin and internal snap ring.
