The Poison Spyder Hood Louver Bare has been engineered with the exceptional ability of keeping your engine cool by enhancing airflow through the engine compartment of your Jeep. There are many factors such as slow speed, flex fans, cramped spaces of the engine compartment, and headers; that contribute to higher engine coolant temperatures and overheating. This special Hood Louver Kit is designed to free up airflow through the engine compartment and hence allow hot air to escape and cooler air to be drawn in through the radiator, improving cooling of both the engine coolant and under-hood air. Rock-crawlers like Wrangler's and slow-moving vehicles are more susceptible to this overheating, as slower speeds naturally result in reduced airflow.

Poison Spyder Hood Louvers are created from thick gauge aluminum sheet that is CNC laser-cut and precision die-stamped so that in addition to delivering improved cooling performance; the louvers can also add stylish looks to your Jeep. The Hood Louvers are fairly easy to install but you do require some drilling and cutting of your hood, so fabrication skills are necessary for installation. Stainless steel fasteners are supplied.
