Regular gear oil does a great job in axles with open or locked differentials, but clutch-style limited-slips will quickly let you know they need a little something extra. Spicer Drivetrain Products friction modifiers will stop their chatter and protect the differential from excessive heat and damage. Just pour the additive into the differential in a well ventilated area and fill to the correct level with regular gear oil.
