This upgraded antenna is much better than the flimsy OEM one. Much thicker so it doesn't move around as much, it's black so it blends in better and I did not notice any difference in reception compared to OEM, most say you degrade reception performance by removing OEM. Great upgrade for only $30!

Jeep Dude
I have had this antenna for a few months now and absolutely love it. Contrary to all the warnings about losing reception, I have experienced no loss at all, even with the very fringe stations. I would say it is equal to or slightly better than stock OEM. In addition, it's semi rigid, much more so than the stock antenna.
