This a great looking antenna, isn't much better than reception then a low cost tram. It does have marginally better range. Far better then the small magnetic mounted antenna midland gives with some of its radio. Less obtruisive then taller ones with this range. For price it isn't really worth it but used coupons to pay for most of it. So it was worth it for me at that price. Looks nice installed and gets job done.

I like the look of this for the Theme of my wrangler I have not personally noticed an extended range with this antenna vs the one that comes with the hard mounted radio by Midland. However, I also have it on the hood of the Jeep and I think that the vehicle’s body could be interfering with getting some more range. I will be moving it to the roof rack when I get that put back on.
