These are stronger than the stock axle shafts. I was surprised to discover that there is no intermediate shaft asnpaet of this like there is with others. To use these you leave the stock intermediate shaft in place. I also had to figure out that you must remove the plastic bushing in the end of the intermediate shaft in order for the larger diameter boss on the new shaft to fit. The shaft takes on a fine oxidized patina in no time as well.
