I have this in my 2012 JK, works fine when you need a place to put stuff with the top off. A couple of suggestions - You can't leave it unlocked with the console closed, that's a pain to have to dig the key out every time. Also put a hole on the passenger side for a chord to go outside the console. You will notice the factory console has a cut out on the passenger side of the lid. That's for a charging or other cable, so you can close the console without pinching a cable or putting a bind on the hinge. Just saying, I use this product all the time and don't notice these things anymore. Nice to be able to lock something up if needed.
