Noticeable Difference and Much Bettern Ride Quality 2 years ago
I installed the Teraflex 2.5 inch coils with Falcon SP2 3.5 E-Adjust shocks about 20,000 miles ago without installing new control arms. The ride was stiff and the steering twitchy. I started developing death wobbles over the last 1,000 miles so I finally upgraded my control arms. The ride difference is night and day. My JL Rubicon Unlimited feels so much smoother and more planted. The death wobbles are gone but I'm still going to upgrade my steering components with Steer Smarts since I already purchased them. The install was not complicated, but I had to buy a more powerful impact wrench to get some of the bolts out. Passenger frame side rear upper is a nightmare to get the bolt back in. The bolt/washer takes some finesse. Hard to get good angles with the torque wrench if installing with the Jeep on the ground.
