I just put these on my diffs last weekend. I'm hardly mechanically inclined but it was a pretty straight-forward job. This thing is definitely WAY heavier-duty than the stock cover. You'd really have to try to hurt it, and even that would be a challenge. It's thick and heavy and well-machined. It went on perfectly. Regarding Teraflex in general, I had a stupid question about whether to add the friction modifier and took a shot and emailed them, thinking I'd probably never hear back. They got back to me right away and were super helpful, even with follow-up questions. I couldn't be more impressed with their product or service.
