I love how you can use your Jeep Key to open the hood. Only draw back is having to buy a 1/4in rivet gun to have it secured to the jeep and sometimes I forget my jeep key in the lock. I also have the hitchlock witch is excellent and uses the same jeep key and they also make a lugnut lock for the spare. Excellent Products.

I don't live in a high crime area but I was always leery of someone being able to easily pop open my hood and take out the battery or mess with the components. This Bolt Hood Lock has given me peace of mind and having it keyed to my Jeep key is an extra plus, and it's so much more inexpensive than the mopar version. Install was a snap, I borrowed a heavy duty rivet gun from my mechanic and I had to modify the mesh grille screen to get the cap on easier.

We purchased this for our 2015 JK. Install was super easy. Fits perfectly behind the grill and locks tight. This will for sure keep the grimlens from under our hood.

Picked this up for our 2015 wrangler it was an easy install and works great. Should have no problem keeping the gremlins from under our hood.
