If you've still got the aluminum knuckles, get rid of them and get you a set of these. They are heavy but extremely durable. I recently put a hydro assist system on my Jeep and I knew those aluminum knuckles were not going to do the job. Install wasn't bad. I just had to beat on the old knuckles for a bit to get them to drop. These bolted right up without any issues. I can trust my steering again without worrying about breaking a knuckle. I also have the Dynatrac ball joints and I didn't have to do anything with them other than re-torque the castle nuts when installing these.

The stock aluminum knuckles are severely under-engineered. Even Jeep knew they were not designed for larger tires since they put steel knuckles on a few packages such as the XR and the Mojave. The Reid knuckles are worth the peace of mind and install was very simple, especially if you are already replacing your ball joints.

Solid product. Heavy but more durable than the original.
