  • Q: Install  Azrel91 year ago

Hello, If I am adding this to my Dana 44 on a x model how does the wiring for the e locker leave the differential? Do you have to drill? Is there any supporting items I need to install this or any other parts I need to replace in my diff? Thank you.
  • Q: packaging  keith53492 years ago

How is this item packaged? I just ordered the same item from amazon and the locker was rolling looses in the box and the anti spin tabs were broken. I am returning it. I just want to make sure if i order another i recieve in better shape.

A:  They should come packaged with packing paper to fill the extra room in the box so the locker can't move all around.

Looking to upgrade to 5.13 gears in my 2013 JKU Sport with the stock 44. Do you have the part # for locker and gears? Also, the gears associated you the upgrade?

A:  This is the correct locker for you. Any brand (Yukon, Ten Factory, Revolution, etc) of the 5.13 gears will work with this locker. Here's an example of the part number for the gears; YUKYGD44JK-513RUB

  • Q: Axle shafts  Graham3 years ago

Since this is a 30 spline locker would I need to upgrade my existing axle shafts as well in order for it to work or could I keep my stock axle shafts? (2007 JK X)
  • Q: 3.73 and down  jeepmountain4 years ago

this may be dumb question but when you say 3.73 and down do you mean lower gears like 4.10,4.56 and 4.88? I have 3.73s now and want to jump to 4.56 so wanting to make sure I'm understanding the "down" part propperly. Thanks
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  It technically means lower numerically(3.55, 3.21), but, the JK's use a thick cut gear set in the rear Dana 44 so all gear ratios use the 3.73 and down carrier(3.21 all the way through 5.38)

  • Q: Fitment for gears higher than 3.73  Phillip4 years ago

This says that it's for gear sets 3.73 and down. What is the comparable locker for 4.88?
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This is the correct locker for a JK Wrangler using 4.88 gears. The JK Dana 44's use a thick cut gear set so all ratio's would use the 3.73 and down carrier.(this is for the rear Dana 44, non-Rubicon)

  • Q: Jk Rubicon eaton elocker.  Brandon4 years ago

Have a jk rubicon 44 front housing i need an elocker for. Looking to do 4.56 thick gears so looking for a 3.73 down locker.. Found one but says not for rubicon housings.... Is that only because the rear of the rubi has 32 spline... meaning this one would actually work good on the 30 spl front 44? Also what bearings would be needed for that locker?
