The California Highway Patrol decided that my Jeep would look better with mud flaps (in other words, I got a ticket.) After looking at my options I decided on the EVO quick release mud flaps and am happy with the results. It’s a lot beefier than I expected it to be. The hardware is thick steel (not likely to bend) and is powder coated black. The flaps themselves are the normal hard rubber about .25” thick and are 12” wide by 18” tall. The rectangular tubes the flaps mount to are about 18” long (I had to cut mine down to 16” because they extended out past the tires.) The kit does not come with the bolts to mount it to the frame. I think if you have a stock bumper you will have the bolts, but my aftermarket bumper doesn’t use these mounts. Fortunately, I had four 10mm bolts in my parts bag (about 1” long) and that did the trick.
