It’s a Dead Pedal 1 year ago
There’s not much to it, it’s a dead pedal. The quality is great, it sits at a comfortable angle, the depth is adjustable, and it’s made in the U.S.A. Support American jobs! Don’t get the cheap low quality Chinese knock offs.

Left foot is so happy with this upgrade 3 years ago
Wish I had bought this sooner. I'm used to Toyota's that have an angle pad for your left foot. This is perfect. Feels natural and greatly improves the comfort of driving my Jeep. Design is really clever by using existing holes in the frame. However, this can make it a challenge to get the backing plate into the holes as the bolts are just about too long to get angled into place. Once you get the backing plate into place, the instructions suggest using tape to hold it in place, so it doesn't get pushed out. I used blue painters tape for this and would recommend it as you don't want it to push out. The pedal can be put into three positions. I was sure that I was going to need the position closest to the firewall, but ended up using the middle position. Unfortunately, you have to attach the pedal to the front plate before attaching it to the backing plate. This means that you need to put it in place, try it out, remove it, and then move it if necessary all while trying to fit into the footwell of the front seat. The kit comes with locking nuts for connecting the front plate to the backing plate. I used some non-locking nuts that I had to test fit everything together until I was ready to finish the install. The tape on the back plate helps with this test fitting also. Once it is in plate, it feel so natural and my left foot is much more comfortable. If I got a new Jeep, I would install this on the first day.

Firstly, they are no longer produced with logo laser cut, now its a sticker (who cares). Many reviews I've seen elsewhere complain about this product and how difficult it is to install. While there is some degree of difficulty in installing this, that is just the nature of the installation location. It dark, and cramped in that foot well area and you have to bend in manners your body is not meant to, it will suck, get over it. All that said it took me about 15 minutes to get it on and I couldn't be happier. It's a nice solid piece of metal that bolts on very securely and is adjustable. A+
Relax your dead leg 2 years ago
This is a nice inexpensive upgrade that enhances your driving experience. Gives you a nice place to stretch out and rest the dead leg on those long drives. Be patient with the install. Search YouTube for suggestions to make the install a little easier.
