If you need it,you need it. Block off plate came with the kit didn't fit. Was missing the holes for the two pins. I tried pulling the pins but lost that battle. But that was a easy fix with a little grinder action. When it's all said and done I still installed it. I also made a brass bushing instead of useing the plastic one.
