The sliders were delivered quickly, but upon unboxing them, I noticed that a few of the lower frame mounting tabs had been bent quite a bit. I assume this happened in transit as the finish hadn't chipped where it was bent. I was able to straighten them out with a large crescent wrench and my press. They are also quite hefty so it was nice to have a helping hand getting them in place. After drilling and tapping all the frame holes, I noticed my rear two bottom bolt holes were a little misaligned but was able to use my jack and a rubber mallet to assist the sliders into place. Overall, they seem well built and heavy duty, can't wait to get out on the trail and test them out. I also love that they act as a replacement step.

Nice solid sliders . Drilling wasn’t too bad. Heavy so hopefully you have help lifting

Haven't got to put these on the trail yet but the quality is awesome! Packing from LOD was perfect and the arrived undamaged and in mint condition. Install is pretty straight forward, just use a good bit and tap and you'll be fine. Northridge got them to me in a couple days couldn't be more happy with them.

These sliders are mounted to the frame. It requires the drilling and tapping of holes into the frame rail. It is set to fit over the default skids, but I have the Evo Protec skids and didn’t have any issues. I’d recommend reading the instructions thoroughly before purchasing. Made in America...

I love these things. They are solid and built to last. They come packed incredibly well and the install was pretty straight forward. The worst part was trying to drill through the frame to mount these. Luckily there were already a few holes in the frame that line up so you can temporarily put the sliders in place to mark the other holes. Just make sure you have a good set of drill bits to drill through steel. Mine were dull and took much longer than it should have.

I spent a lot of time looking for the right rock rail to fit my needs. Lots of stuff out there, but nothing I liked. Finally found these, order painted. Came in a bomb proof packaging lol. Install is easy. Looks great. They have now been on for 1 full season and I have beat the piss out of them, LOVE them, great set of rails. recommend these 100%

Does your wife complain how tall your Jeep is? But does she also complain about spending money on your Jeep? Do what I did. Get a 5 gallon bucket from your local hardware store and about 5 feet of rope. Tie one end to the bucket and the other end to the seat frame. Have her step up on the bucket, and then pull it into the Jeep with the rope. First time she has to do that in public she will let you buy sliders. Now, you are a smart husband and a smarr husband would buy LoD sliders because they have a step on them. Which makes a happy wife and a happy wife lets you buy more Jeep parts. These sliders bolt right in. After I bolted mine in I took them to a mall called the Rubicon Trail. These things were awesome. They didn't fold like a taco. But I ate tacos on the trail. Powder Coating is very durable. Maybe you aren't running the Rubicon Trail. These will still protect you from the shopping carts at your local mall. Buy these you won't regret them.

Was looking for sliders that mounted to the frame, had quality design and powder coating so they would not rust. LoD's sliders do it all and can take a hit. Have been through salt seasons and not rusting issues.

Thsee sliders are extremely heavy duty. I opted for these because they are solid, frame mounted American made sliders that will stand up to more than I will throw at them. I picked them over the EVO sliders because they bolt on and I don't need to wait in a welder The required tools for install were a little harder to find at my locan hardware store - 7/16in drill and tap were not in stock. Ordered those from Amazon and no issues. They were shipped really quickly too! I had heard the horror stories that people had to wait for these to be made and then shipped. I had mine in under a week! packaging was solid too. The box came a little banged up but the sliders held up and we're even bolted in place to help protect them. I would recommend these to anyone who loves their JK and doesn't know a good welder.

Pretty easy to install. Bolts on to the frame without welding. My wife loves having the steps built in. I haven't been able to take them on the trails yet but they seen like they would be able to take a beating.

As others have mentioned, these are great all around rock sliders. They function as a step, but more importantly provide needed protection to your rocker panels. I've banged and scratched my sliders countless times. I just give them a quick rattle can touch up and they look good again. Couple notes: the small allen head bolt that hold the inserts on can get damaged again the rocks and become a pain to remove. You'll want to make sure these are compatible with your long arm kit. I had to have a friend modify mine and weld them on.
