Went through old sluice on Rubicon trail. My buddy had a set of “boat sliders” from a well known company. They failed miserably and crushed in both sides of his body. My LOD sliders have a good size dent and even touched the body a little bit but no major damage. He has to go and have body shop reshape the tub. I am very impressed! Plus mine have a step.

I installed these 5 years ago. They have been hit hard by rock, submerged in rivers, sand, mud, snow and everything thing else a jeep should be going through. I have to say they’re holding up incredibly well. I got scratches through the powder coat but no gouging or denting in the steel. The welds are still intact like they were on day one. And personally even after 5 years I still think they are the best looking rock sliders on the market. If LOD were to make an aluminum version of this exact rock slider I would totally make the upgrade.

This was one of the first things we upgraded on our Jeep Willy’s edition, it’s made it easier for the kids to get in and out of the jeep, and has held up great over the last year, no rust fading or anything. Easy to install with the ease of one person and means of propping it each rail up while bolting it in!

Great rock sliders. The step portion of the sliders is very useful and provides a good amount of grip. They can be a little slippery when wet, but I have not had any issues with them. Install was fairly easy, I ran into an issue, but LOD was very helpful and responsive. I have not taken them out on the trail yet, but can't wait to put them to use.

High quality, excellent welds, professionally powder coated, solid installation to the frame. Installation was a breeze, with only one exception. The front passenger side bolt requires drilling through the frame, and most drills won't clear the body seam below the door. That being said, it wasn't impossible. I only have one complaint, and since I don't know who's to blame, I'll blame myself. Shipping states 14 to 21 days. This is a suggestion. In total, these took six weeks to arrive. Not because of a slow shipping process, but because LoD currently makes them to order. In conclusion, I am very happy, as they are a solid addition to my Jeep, but in hindsight, I would have ordered them sooner.

Install is a pain and sliders don't cover the entire pinch weld. Super strong but had to have multiple hands and use the spacers installing. Overall, they should have built it as a single piece for each side. As usual Northridge was excellent .

Major pain to install with numerous skid plates that had to be removed but well worth it. They not only look great but are extremely solid. Very happy with this purchase.

I bought this back in 2020 before LOD's website labeled these sliders as medium duty. I drove down a small ledge and the slider hit very lightly but enough to fold into the rocker panel causing body damage. I wouldn't recommend these unless it's used as s step only.
