Great Product 8 months ago
ordered these of course from NR4x4. Came very well packed in the box. Took me about an hour to install both sides with drilling the extra holes and tapping them. These are built to last for sure. I feel like there is a chance these wont dent the kick plate under the door like the Smittybilt ones i had on before did.

I love that these sliders have a small step for my shorter passengers to use. They are very heavy duty and look like they can take a beating. Can't wait to get them out on the rocks!

Strong sliders that can take the hits 1 year ago
After spending a weekend rock crawling at a local off-road park which used to be a iron ore pit mine I can provide a quality review. I will say these rails are stout and hold up very well. Both myself and my friend are running these same rails and we put them through the test. We both ran into situations were we dropped our Jeeps onto these rails with no issues at all. I came out of this weekend with scraps up and down the rails, but no dents and zero damage to my Jeep. I would 100% recommend these rails. There are a few downsides, albeit minor: * The paint job from the factory wasn’t the greatest. I had some minor rust showing up after a winter of salted roads. I used a rattle can to touch that up. Might not hurt to spray them with an additional coat of paint before installing * The outer step area can get very slick. I installed 3m safety tape which has managed to hold up well. * If weight is an issue for you these are heavy, but the toughness of these rails makes up for that. * Minor thing, but some of the bolt locations for the install can be tricky to line up. I’m assuming if I had someone helping me install these it would have been easier.

Excellent rock sliders! 2 years ago
These are great sliders. Very well built, easily installed, and can take some serious abuse. Not really effective as a step but it does help some. Would definitely buy them again!

Signature sliders installed on a 21 JLUR 2 years ago
I was truly impressed with the shipping time and packaging. The LOD sliders are probably the sturdiest bolt on slider available. Installation was as expected i did have to loosen one body mount bolt but it was no biggie. The hardest part of the install will be the extra hole you need to drill through the frame.

Super Stout 2 years ago
These sliders are super stout. The accent plates are perfect for painting as an accent color. The only problem I had installing were the two through bolts for the front arms. On my 22 JLUR, the holes that are supposed to be there don't exist. I'm probably just going to drill one side each frame rail and tapping it like the rear one.

Solid 3 years ago
Works ok as a step, really tight to body but super sturdy. No doubt to the protection they'll provide!

Loving them thus far! 3 years ago
Bought these to help us shorter people get in and out of the Jeep since I got it lifted. They are narrow enough not to impede my trail riding, yet durable enough to replace the stock rock sliders. I was able to paint the underside plates to match my red accents. Loving it so far, the aesthetics are on par with my own taste. Well made, beefy, and easy to install yourself.

I bought these sliders to replace the cheaper stock ones on my JLUR. Installation wasn't too tough to do by myself with a floor jack and some 2x4s. I didn't loosen the body bolts to install these because I didn't want to risk snapping them - that's the whole reason I went with this slider in the first place. You just have to squeeze the mounts past the body bolt washers. Maybe if the holes for the mounts were just a bit bigger, this would have been easier. I used a pry bar and a small sledge hammer wrapped in an old t-shirt so I didn't damage the powder coating. I wouldn't advise this installation process if you ever plan to remove them because they probably won't come off in one piece... but it worked! Overall I'm happy with the purchase.

Bomb-proof sliders bringing the ultimate protection 5 years ago

It's hard to describe how well built these sliders are. They are a bit difficult to install by yourself... but not impossible (with the assistance of a set of jack stands and a floor jack.) The body mounts may need to be loosened to allow the slider mounts fit around them, making them tricky to get into place by one's self - jack helps a lot. Once installed, they not only protect the rocker panels, but also help to deflect the rocks away from the chipped up hinges! The fact that they double as steps is a cherry on top! Highly recommend these!
