I have this skid on both my sport rear m220 and my sport front 186 (different skid). They have performed just as designed. They do require cleaning after wheeling as mud gets stuffed in them. Also the rear one does not allow access to the fluid drain. This adds about 5 min more of time to change the fluid. That said, I have smashed these skids into rocks and dirt and they have done their job! Great price and I am glad they are black.

This rear skid is a turned into a bargain right away. I beat the crap out of it on several trips, took it off, made some sawzall cuts to better clear some of the other aftermarket parts under there that they "somehow" made contact with at extreme flex. Flapwheel and repainted, ready to go. I did make some spacers (you can stack washers) to keep the pinion clamp from flipping around as it is tightened.

The rear bracket doesn't fit proper over the pinion and the hole on the bottom doesn't line up with the drain hole.

I believe it will be tough enough to do the job. When I first got it I held it in place and eyeballed it for fitment. Seemed cool, so I slathered JEEP matching paint on it. So I kinda don't think I could send it back. But for the price it's a good plate, with nothing else to physically compare it to. Two issues on fitment however. Structurally, the rear bracket isn't long enough for the tabs to meet up with each other. Look up the install instructions online and what you see is what it will be like in photo 3. The other issue is the assumption that the hole on the bottom will line up with the diff drain hole. IT DOESN'T. Which means to service you must pull the entire plate off to get to it. I removed and reinstalled a couple times to see what I was doing wrong. But it is what it is.

This thing is very rugged and will certainly protect you rear diff. The problem I had was the cutout for the drain plug is in the wrong place. I did not want to remove this every time I drained the diff, so I returned it.
