Product is a good beginner product; I have now upgraded to weld on skid plates. I highly recommend this product for entry level rock crawling.

These are very well built and solid! Easy quick install, very impressed with the construction and how solid they are.

Fairly easy install, no major issues, just some tweaking to align holes with bolts and loosening some surrounding parts…normal mechanical process, and also use of judgement to which side to insert the bolt. Offer great protection to swing arms and shock's bottom end. Ps a little expensive compared to other skid plates equipment but could be explained by the fitting components, still very worth buying.

These are meaty skids. They are beefier in real life than they look in photos. I haven’t bashed them into rocks but I’m confident they will perform exactly as expected. The newer versions have asymmetric rear skids, the taller side goes to the inside of the Jeep as shown in my photos. If you have troubles getting the control arms to realign with the bracket holes apply forward/backward torque to the wheel and it will move the control arm in the bracket .

Had these installed on my Jeep for less than year. Whenever I had to take them off to install new LCA's, all 4 nuts were seized to the bolts, so I had to cut them off. I live in a place with lots of snow so corrosion can occur. I contacted RockHard 4x4 for replacement and they told me they used grade 10 bolts that are apparently pretty resistant to corrosion. I don't know anything about corrosion resistance for different grades of metal, but whatever, they sent me replacement bolts and nuts. However, half of bolts were way too large to fit.
