Huge difference over stock brakes 2 years ago

Installed these on my 2017 JKUR on 35's with a lot of steel armor. You can immediately tell the size difference between the rotors and the dual piston calipers from stock components. Not going to lie, when I first installed them and went for the break-in runs, I was really concerned about pedal squishiness. However, after I did the full procedure, I left for work the next morning, and WOW. The pedal was much firmer than before and it stops almost effortlessly. Also, I noticed a significant increase in brake control which will come in handy on the trails. I have 4.88's installed and often times in 4-lo rock crawling the rig will want to keep creeping forward even when I was on the brakes. that is not the case anymore. I did not experience any nose-diving and the jeep stops much more evenly and will not sway from one side to the other. Very happy overall.
Awesome stopping power! 3 years ago
Great brakes for the Dana 44 axle. I don’t even have the j8 booster and these stop phenomenal! 10/10 would recommend

Very easy to install. The longest part of the installation was relocating my brake and speed sensor lines. Make sure to do a good bleed if you are doing it yourself. I ended up bleeding all 4 calipers a second time and after that the brakes stopped my Jeep with 37s on a dime. They look awesome and are probably twice as heavy as the factory brakes and rotors.

I installed this kit and the Teraflex rear big brake kit after lifting my JK and upgrading to 35in tires. The increase in stopping performance is significant and a major improvement over the stock brakes. Teraflex has since released the Delta Brake Kit, which is even beefier than this kit for both front and rear, and based on this kit's performance would probably be a good buy as well. Install complexity for this kit was low, and was a straightforward brake replacement. At time of writing I've put about 5,000 driving km on them without issue. There is a recommended burn-in procedure for this kit prior to doing heavy driving/off-roading - it takes less than an hour and is worth doing to ensure the rotors perform correctly. Notes on rotor types: -These are plain rotors and are good for people who do a lot of mudding or off-roading driving where you may accumulate dirt, mud, etc in the wheels. -Slotted and vented rotors have improved cooling performance and do better while on-road, but can get damaged if exposed to a lot of mud/dirt and not cleaned out immediately.
