This exhaust services its exact purpose for what I was looking for. It allows me to increase my departure angle without fear of smashing the factory muffler and tail pipe. The installation was simple, and the hardest part was removing the factory exhaust. This exhaust is loud. You will need to remove both the factory muffler and the resonator to install this exhaust system, which is essentially just a resonator. You also need to be careful of your exhaust clamp locations, as they will vibrate against the driver-side frame if you don't line them up properly. I ended up cutting some thin silicon pads and gluing them with RTV at the clamps to prevent the rattle that was still occurring.

Installed this on a 3.6 jk, it’s louder than the stock exhaust noticeably. Good tone through the rpm range and no in cab drone. Quality as always from magnaflow. Highly recommend. This exhaust gave me the sound and tone I was looking for out of the 3.6.
