Easy to install and look great. Excited about the added layer of protection beyond what the stock covers provided. Loved that I was able to reuse the factory gasket without issue.

If you go offroad and you’re anywhere near rocks this is a cheap insurance policy to make sure you make it back to the trailhead. I’ve see people peel back the very thin stock diff covers on rocks. This is beefy and will take the hits. I’ve hit mine against many rocks with no concerns.

Well, another great part from Dana the rear differential cover kit is great and definitely a huge improvement over stock. I love ordering from Northridge they are responsive and shipping is always quick.

Install was a breeze. The Dana factory dif covers came with metal backed seals and they were like new so I reused them. The new covers Look great and better yet are bullet proof. We only have a 2.5 lift on this JL Rubicon so it was not necessary to use the upper fill hole, but it is a good feature if your axle is rotated much more than ours. These are good ensurance for your differentials. We have tested them In Ouray and at Hot Springs ORP. Bashed but not injured in anyway.

The cover is a substantial improvement over factory but the supplied hardware fails at 70-80% of factory torque spec. "Do Not" recommend using the supplied fasteners.
