The Gremlin
Standard gladiator JT shocks will not fit on a Mojave due to larger shock bolts in the front. Fortunately Fox makes this adapter kit to make the 2.0 and 2.5 shocks for the JT work with the Mojave. It is a larger bushing kit and spacer. I have a 21 gladiator Mojave with a 4 1/2 inch lift and I wanted good shocks but didn’t wanna break the bank so I purchased this kit for a pair of 2.0 FOX shocks. installation was very difficult. The larger diameter bushings are a very tight fit. I recommend if you have a local machine shop, I would see if they would press them in for you. Otherwise took my wife and I almost 2 hours per shock and a whole lot of choice words. It is extremely frustrating, but we did eventually get them installed.In addition, this is only the bushing kit, but in the instructions requires a separate lower shock mount. Fortunately, I had a pair of shock extensions I was able to modify and make work. Hope this is helpful for someone. Just have patience and take your time. It will be frustrating if you do it on your own.
