Install was pretty straight forward; they give me some extra piece of mind having the barrel locking system that I was what I was looking for (Alternative to a simple Key system). Of great quality and gives off the appearance of it being an oem option from the factory. I'm sure it will not completely stop a highly motivated thief but will deter an opportunist in my opinion. Best I've seen for a locking system on the market in both looks and function.

I wanted to replace the factory hood locks because better safe than sorry. The other locks I found had some chrome and I wanted all black to stick with the blue and black look on my JL. These look awesome, are built well and easy to install. Yes you can pay much less for something else but these fit my need exactly.

I bought these for exactly what I put in the title, some extra peace of mind, knowing that my hood was locked. These feel sturdy and install was a breeze and took about 20 min. Love that my hood locks now.
