The Midland MXT575 MicroMobile 50-Watt GMRS two-way radio features a Fully Integrated Control Microphone ideal for vehicles with limited dashboard space, allowing the radio base unit to be stashed away. Transmit with authority on 15 GMRS channels and 8 repeater channels, plus split tone repeater support. The MXT575 is equipped with NOAA Weather Scan + Alert technology to keep you informed on local weather conditions. Inside the box, with control microphone and low profile hide away radio unit, is a flip frame detachable mount, magnetic mount antenna, 12 Volt power cord, and user’s manual. As with all the MicroMobiles, the MXT575 is compatible with all Midland FRS/GMRS handheld walkie talkies.
With 50 Watts of broadcasting power, this radio is the most powerful GMRS radio allowed by law. The MXT575 is the perfect vehicle communication for off-roaders, overlanders, farmers, RV owners, and outdoor & powersport enthusiasts. Been debating on the 500 or this and I’m glad I chose the right one. Hooked mine up after receiving it and got a true 48.9 watt reading by far the best power of any reading I’ve received vs my other brands! Using the midland ghost antenna, diamond bracket with the unit planning on the 6b soon .
Ordered this radio for overland trips, installed in 2020 Jeep wrangler rubicon. Straight forward install to factory aux switch. Great reception! communicates well with my midland hand held radios. Highly recommend
