Pentastar Cartridge to Spin-On Oil filter adapter fits 2011-2013 3.2 and 3.6-liter Pentastar engines. Cartridge Filters have no anti-drainback valve. This product provides faster oil pressure at startup by keeping the upper oil system flooded. The adapter contains full flow check valve and unique threaded locking mechanism. Utilizes Schrader valve for oil evacuation when removing spin-on filter. Made and patented in USA.
Application Note: Minor modifications may be needed on some vehicles to attain proper clearance for installation and servicing.
CAUTION: If the stock oil filter cap and oil filter removed, if this bypass valve and support assembly is not present, STOP!
The Oil filter/cooler assembly has been replaced by 2014+ version and will require MS-201-BK Cartridge to Spin-On Oil Filter Adapter.

Northridge shipped it fast and the adapter seems to be solid & well made. This was easy to install (I spent about 15 minutes). It's nice because it gives you a few different options for spin-on filters (depending on how much clearance you have) but it did NOT fix the cold start rattle in my 3.6 jeep. So I spent $400 just to have the ability to use a spin-on filter; I wish I didn't waste that money.
