Not sure why the control arms are exposed like they are? But the Rock Hard Skid Plates fix the problem and give me peace of mind that I won't have any problems on the trails with my control arms. Simple to install and maintenance free, why would anyone not want a pair of these on the rig?

Installation not as smooth as it should be. There's a hook that's supposed to grab into the shock mount, but failed to stay in place for me. Other than occasionally falling down and catching something, they do protect my lower mounts effectively. To be fair, I was less experienced in my ability to install stuff at the time, so it could be me doing something wrong.
