Due to the location of the diesel DEF tank, ensuring that this system stays safe on the trail is one of the forefront concerns of diesel JL owners. Our heavy-duty skid plate encases the DEF tank and muffler so they can take hits left and right through the trail ride. You can rest easy that the exhaust is not heating the plastic DEF tank causing damage, due to a heat barrier that sits between the two.

Made with 3/16-inch steel and protected by a black powder coat, our system tidies up the backside of your diesel Jeep with a clean new look. The skid plate is fully bolt-on using stainless steel hardware, making the installation process simple.
