Swapped this out while we were upgrading the shocks on our ‘21 Rubi 4XE. Steering is a bit more firm than stock, but that is not a bad thing. Took less than 30 minutes to remove the factory stabilizer and install the new one. Bilstein includes new hardware to replace the carriage bolt on the body side mount with no cutting or drilling required. Pro tip, turn the wheels full lock towards the passenger side to make install a little easier.

I got this to replace the AEV branded version that started leaking on me not too long after I installed it. I'm hoping this one holds up a bit longer, They both feel the same, the AEV comes with a new bolt and cost 10 or 20 more. You'll need that bolt if you've got a newer jl as the extended squared off one won't fit. The JL seems a lot more prone to bump steer and wobbles than my TJ, this helps calm some of that.

I have been using these shocks for a couple years now and I can’t say enough positive things about them. I replaced the OEM shocks on my Gladiator and the ride quality was a noticeable improvement. Also the overall performance on and off road was great. Will be sticking with Bilstien for all my vehicles.
