Good replacement boots. I have used a couple so far on my drag link due to the original ones cracked apart. They do require some type of install tool, I found a guy that has used a pvc piece. That pvc with my ball joint tool set I’m able to get it on with no issues.

If you don’t have the right tools it can be tough to install. I didn’t have any issues but I have the right tools to make the install a breeze. These boots will almost last forever. The only reason I needed a replacement is because I had to use a pickle fork on my pitman arm to get my drag link off and I damaged the boot.

Installed on my Yeti Steersmart XD Draglink on a jk. Old one ripped so needed this replacement. It came very dirty and needed to be clean. Kind of disappointing since its priced high imo. Will need the tool to install or get creative with some washers and tools to press it on.

I have had to order two of these in the past few months. Northridge is always super fast on getting the item to me, which is a feat these days in and of itself.

So the plastic install tool is horribad. There is a guy on YouTube who explains how to make an install tube out of $5 worth of PVC connectors. Linked his video. Save yourself some grief and do that. Also, sand down the edge of the PVC before you do it. 30 minute install with the PVC pipe tool. 2-3 hours without.
