I've had this winch for a little over a year now and have used it 4 times. It has plenty of power, the wireless remote is fantastic. When in free spool its a little hard to pull out but that could just be me.

I just purchased a second EVO10-S for my wife's Wrangler after having one on my Gladiator for 2+ years. It has stood up ok to Minnesota winters of salt and chemicals for the snow. It has always worked when I needed it to get my Gladiator out of mud, high-center situations, and ice. I think it looks better than the cheaper options too. It just looks higher quality. The reason I am only giving 4 stars is do to paint bubbling and peeling off the top. This is disappointing to me but no rust is visible. The spot is about the size of a quarter. I could touch up with some rustoleum. I have not experimented with the cordless functionality. I only use it plugged in.

does the fairlead mount to the VR EVO10-S or do U need a winch mount plate ? and what are my options? I have a Poison Spider bumper.

A: Per the mfg, it is 72.4 pounds, total. They don't clarify if that's shipping weight, or actual weight.
