Features redesigned internals to eliminate the problems with the factory OPDA; Factory OPDA had a seal under the upper bearing which caused the bearing to fail prematurely; Crown's OPDA has the seal relocated to above the upper bearing and an oil groove in the shaft of the OPDA which is designed to bring oil up to both the upper and lower bearings.

Very important upgrade for the 2005-2006 4.0L 6 months ago

My OPDA wasn't whining yet but it was still full of bearing material where the upper, unlubricated bearing was disintegrating. The included crankshaft position sensor can be an issue but I used the Standard Auto Parts sensor in place of it.
