I have a bunch of winches on different things from your standard offroad toys to trailers to tractors. A lot of my tractors have fairly underpowered winches on them for their weight. Most of the time I end up winching 45 or more degrees off straight ahead as I live in a swampy woods. I used to use a roller fairlead with synthetic rope but they take up a lot of space. These are almost as good as a roller fairlead as far as resistance of the rope rubbing on the fairlead. If you just need a fairlead to guide rope to the drum, you don't really need this. If you are actually doing last wrap pulls at extreme off angles... this is the best there is.

Not sure what to say about these, it's an exceptional product. If you've invested in a synthetic winch line, go the extra mile and pick up a Factor55 Hawse Fairlead. It's even got bling!
