  • Q: Will the XD2 work with Teraflex HD Trackbar without clearance issues?   dmulk2 years ago

2017 JKU with AEV 2.5 in lift. Just want to make sure as I've read mixed reports of interference issues with the Teraflex HD Trackbar. Thank you.
  • Q: Are the XD2's "rebuildable" and work with Teraflex components?  dmulk2 years ago

Are the XD2's rebuildable and can they replace a stock steering gear on a JKU that has a stock system, AEV 2.5 lift with 33's and Teraflex HD Dragline and Track bar without interference? Thanks!
  • Q: Torque specs  Frank2 years ago

What would be the torque specs for the big nut and the 4 bolts holding box to frame. They are not in the installation instructions and I can't get a hold of PSC.
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  87 foot pounds for the steering box bolts into the frame, and 185 foot pounds for the steering sector nut.

A:  I finally got a hold of PSC and was told these were the torque specs "220-240 on the pitman arm and factory specs on the 4 mounting bolts which should be 87 ft pounds."

  • Q: drop pitman arm  toad3 years ago

I have a drop pitman arm on my 2007JK X, running a 4" TeraFlex lift. Will this work with my set up or will I have to go to a draglink flip kit on my Synergy draglink?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  You would need to go to a drag link flip and raised track bar bracket(if you don't have one). The pitman arm with this box isn't a drop and your drop won't work with it.

  • Q: Pittman Arm  Pat 3 years ago

How big is the drop on the Pittman arm?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The supplied Pitman arm does not have any additional drop to it, therefore some applications may require a drag link flip kit.

  • Q: Pump Variations XD vs XD2  feroxjb3 years ago

What's the difference between the XD and the XD2?
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The XD2 is the second version of the Big Bore XD gearbox. You may see it listed both ways but all the Big Bore gear boxes we have(ported or non-ported) are XD2.

  • Q: Will this work with Synergy Sector Shaft Brace?  Mibbj 3 years ago

Will the PSC pump work with the Synergy Jeep JK Sector Shaft Brace? I see the shaft diameter is larger than stock. Thanks
  • Q: Used with oem steering pump  Frank3 years ago

I know this steering gear was designed to be used with the PSC pump but can it still be used with the oem pump? And if so will it make a difference turning 37s?
  • Q: Big Bore XD steering box  Pmills4 years ago

I installed this unit and great fit. I notice the pitman arm does not drop as low as the stock one. Now when I drive over a bumpy road or Accelerate It seems like the front end floats. I compared the stock pitman arm drop to the one that came with the kit and their is quite a bit of difference. I was told that is why I’m getting that floaty feeling. Is there any correction to this issue like another pitman arm for this kit that drops lower.
    • 2 of 2 people found the following answer helpful

A:  There is not a different pitman arm available for this steering box. There are a few factors that could play in to the floaty feeling that you have. It would be best to give us a call @ 866-601-5340 to discuss what may be going on.
