Q: 06 rubicon front axle Jeep McJeepface4 years ago
Will this locker fit in a 2006 rubicon front axle? I will be regearing to 4.88 at the same time so will I need thick cut gears to make this work?

A: This locker will work in your 06 Rubicon axle. You would use thin 4.88 gears with this locker. You would use a thick cut gear if you had the 3.73 and down locker, 19977-010.

Q: Eaton e Locker 3.92 and up hemi1run4 years ago
When it says 3.92 and up, does that mean 4.88 will work?

A: Yes, but the gear set also plays a role in that. There are thick or thin cut gear sets. With this locker you would need to use the thin cut 4.88 gear set, like the Yukon YUKYGD44-488. If you have thick cut gears, then you would use the EAT19977-010 locker with the 4.88's.
