I needed a new tie rod after my stock ends were well worn and after banging the OE steel at SMORR as often as I did it was time to move on to aluminum. This one was the right choice for me. The one ton ball ends get extremely close to the brake's dust shield. Something to consider if you are looking at tie rods that advertise two or two and a half ton. Helps to clean up the slop in your steering too
