K&N Filters 57 Series FIPK Performance Intake System
JK 2007-11
Features & Product Details
The 57 Series Generation II air intake, also referred to as an FIPK®, is K&N's ultimate performance product. These performance intakes are designed to increase power by as much as 10%. 57 Series FIPK's are CARB exempt, street legal in all 50 US states, come with a Million Mile Limited Warranty and are guaranteed to increase power. K&N air intake systems replace your vehicle's restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This translates into more power and torque for your vehicle. The filters on these kits are washable and reusable. Most of our air intake systems are relatively easy to install using tools commonly available (see installation instructions).

We go to the Eastside all the time and this system is great for keeping the dust out. Installing the unit was fairly easy too. Cleaning and recharging the filter is simple too.
I live in Southern California and bought this due to their popularity in off-road racing. They hold tons of dirt and filter great. Then when you're done with 4 days of following a 19 Jeep caravan through silt beds you just pull it out and wash it like new. A possible downside would be wading through tons of water above your hood. But since were in a 15 year drought, I just put the nylon wrap on so any splashes from creeks quickly runs off.
