  • Upgrade your factory Jeep Jk's Dana 44 rear axle to a 70" wide full-float axle with this TeraFlex JK Wide Rear Dana 44 8-Lug Full-Float Conversion Kit Aftermarket mods and just general off-road use can wear down the factory JK rear axel shafts and wheel bearing assemblies. Bent and broken axels are the last thing any off-roader wants to endure while in the middle of an adventure. The 'float' of the axel shaft in the differential is what really makes the difference in this kit. Upgrade from your stock axel's limited performance on and off road, while protecting the factory elements of your Rubicon. Vastly improved stopping power gives your JK more flexability on the trails. Teraflex perfromance-engineered conversion kit takes the stress off your axel shaft by evenly distributing weight across the chromoly spindles. The twin-bearing full-float design spreads vehicle weight evenly across the forged 4140 chromoly spindles removing vehicle weight from the axle shaft. The casehardened 4340 chromoly shafts simply transfer torque to the wheels without the load stress from the vehicle weight. The spindle accepts readily available low-cost industry standard bearings and seals. It is recommended to replace the inner seal when removing axel shaft. Install time of 5 hours includes both driver and passenger side axel shafts, 2 inner seals, removal of differential, adding oil, and axel reassembly. All factory sensors are maintained and protected from the elements. Retains OEM park brakes, calipers and pads. Locking Hub Kits and Full-Float Kits may not work with all wheels.
