RH4X4 FEATURES:
Functional Design
Each mounting rail is 2" x 3" .188 wall (3/16") thick steel making them indestructible rock crushers. Factory Rubicon sliders are built from .120 wall (1/8") thick steel. For those who were better writers than adders in school, Rock Hard 4x4 sliders are 56% thicker.
Each slider's end cap is welded shut to prevent debris, water, and dirt from getting inside. Factory sliders have plastic pressed in end caps.
Their welded brackets to the body mount locations are 3/8" thick steel. They don't even exist on the factory Rubicon Rails so we'll call that a 100% thickness upgrade.
They then set them in a jig and weld on 1 3/4" .120 tubing giving you a step you don't know how you lived without. The tube also helps keep your Jeep off the rocks by giving you a steel "cushion" that takes all the abuse the trail can throw at them.
Ease of Installation
The secret behind RH4x4 system's ease of install is precise fitment. They mount not just to your body's pinch seam like "import" versions of tubular rails; they also mount to your body bolts with tabs over 3 times the factory width. This means more mounting points for a stronger, rattle free, and exact fitting rock rail. Included in every hardware pack are shims that also allow for their heavy-duty hardware to perfectly align your sliders underneath your Jeep for a look that can't be beat by "one size misfits all" imports.

I took these a step further and painted the top side with black epoxy no-skid paint with grit. Now anyone using these as a step won't slip and wipe out in slushy snow boots. Be sure to use the long bolts in the box. The factory bolts are too short.

I bought these because my stock steps had sacraficed themselves protecting my body. After a year of wheeling the stock plastic running boards had finally had enough. I decided to retire them to the junk parts pile. Looking around for a set of rock rails I would never have to move or worry about or alter I came upon these. These will fit a 37in tire and never have to worry about trimming or altering them for fit. These rails are thick and beefy. The installation was the same as every other rock rail in the catalog. My pinch seam was in tatters from taking hits off the stock rails. A little massaging and a coule extra color words and these guys fit right up. to make it a tiny bit easier for yourself have a ratcheting box end wrench for the furthest pinch seam bolt. These are perfect sliders for the rocks and even better for my wife and kids for getting in and out of the jeep. I'll be calling on Rock Hard for more Armor needs in the future.
