Easy to install, grille-mounted front camera kit for the 2020+ Jeep Gladiator (and Wrangler 4XE/392). Includes everything needed to install the kit, no wire splicing, no screws.

*Note: Requires a Tazer JL Mini to activate the “cargo camera” input on your screen. Works on the 8.4 Uconnect only.

If the Tazer JL Mini is present, this camera input can be activated at any time, in any drive mode, and at any speed, if you want. It makes a perfect trail camera as well as for parking.

Cargo camera input is not a Hi-Definition input like the backup camera, so the video quality will not be as good! This is a high-quality standard definition (480i) camera. There is no way to add a high-definition cargo camera input to the Jeep radio.

Install wasn’t too bad, decent amount of install references online that you could look up. The picture quality isn’t the same as the rear standard camera but it does give you a view you wouldn’t have had without it.

The fist one I got looked like crap called and in two days had a new one looks a lot better still not the best look on the screen but it gets the job done can see all the rocks and stuff in front of you

Make sure you have the Tazer to add this. About the only option I didn't get on my Gladiator and I regret it. Added this after watching a friend go over the top of a blind hill and drop into a 4' rut nose first. Love being able to take a glance at what is in front of me. My wife's JL has the factory camera and it is much clearer and wider field of view. This is the best I can do and am happy with it. Resolution is much lower than factory but that is a limitation of the radio inputs. It does have some problem in bright conditions. Running the wires behind the dash can be a bit of a pain because there is a lot crammed back there with not much space.

Quality isn't perfect but still great 4 years ago

Obviously they're limited to quality due to programming, and you have to rip apart the dash to plug the camera in behind the touch screen. Also wiring into the cab is a pain going into a plastic piece by the break booster but whatever. I don't think I have the pin behind the dash plugged in all the way and I haven't had time to go back there and fix it so occasionally I get a blue screen and static (only trail riding i noticed) but that's most likely my fault. Would still recommend a great tool to have offroad, especially coming over peaks.
