AEV's first step when designing this lift kit was understanding the shortcomings and limitations of your vehicle's factory suspension system. AEV strives to bring you the ideal suspension components for the optimal balance of load carrying capacity and improved ride quality that you should expect from a performance lift kit. Featuring a set of AEV-tuned Bilstein 5100 series shock absorbers, your Jeep will sport a more rugged appearance and a more controlled feel. The shocks are paired with triple-rate coil springs in order to increase wheel travel while providing better articulation for even more stability. Even while towing, your vehicle will remain confident and in control until you've made it to your destination.

Premium Construction for an Off-Road Feel

AEV's DualSport RT Suspension Kit was designed to give your vehicle a 2.5" boost off of the ground for improved ground clearance when traveling over uneven terrain. Moreover, the included shocks are a massive 46mm in diameter and are crafted with a durable multi-layer zinc finish in order to tackle just about any application you have mind. Heavy-duty control arm geometry brackets are included for improved ride quality and reduced nose dive under hard braking. Extended length front and rear sway bar end links compensate for the additional lift height, while new front and rear bump stop spacers improve bumper/axle contact under full articulation and jounce. Installation is made straightforward as AEV includes all of the necessary hardware and instruction without requiring you to swap out any of the OE tack bars, control arms, or steering components. Best of all, this kit is backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty to help keep your investment protected.

Note: This suspension and spring/shock tune was designed for the gas engine Gladiator, so EcoDiesel-equipped vehicles may not achieve the best possible ride quality and load carrying capability. For this reason, AEV is currently developing a new 2.5” spring, specifically for the EcoDiesel. If you are installing this suspension system on an EcoDiesel model, the included coil spring spacer needs to go on the opposite side of the vehicle to account for different fuel and DEF tank placement.

I´ve had this lift now for more than a year and have driven with it in all kinds of conditions. This lift works perfectly for me with the Gladiator because I do a great deal of towing and occasional hauling. It does not sag under load, at all, with the standard AEV rear springs. The on-road handling is excellent, and that´s really why I bought the lift. It does not sag under load, yet it retains good suspension travel off-road. It tightened up the ride a little bit, but it is not at all harsh. I would describe it as controlled. The steering and handling feel great, too. I did install the front control arm relocation brackets, and I feel that is a key to the way it rides and handles. I would strongly recommend this lift. AEV has top notch quality and they use Bilstein shocks tuned to their flavor. I think it is just right. The standard rear springs handle everything I´ve thrown at them. I would only recommend the heavy duty springs if you are putting a substantial overlanding load on the truck, such as you see with overlanders who take everything including the kitchen sink on their trips. I didn´t need that because I don´t overload the truck. I throw some water, camping gear, food, tent, and recovery gear in the back and that´s all I need. This thing doesn´t even know its there. I am taking it to Moab in October and I expect it to perform exceptionally well. Love the lift. Highly recommend it, especially for a daily driver and weekend wheeler. Installation does take time and you´ll need extra hands. I had the luxury of a lift and a buddy and it took us 10 hours. But it is done right. Not terribly hard. But done by the book.

Q: Rake with the AEV 2.5 dualsport rt Brixx4 years ago
I am considering this lift for the Rubicon Gladiator that does not have the steel front bumper. My question is do I need spacers for this lift to take the rake out of the front end, especially since I have plans to add a bumper and winch? Thanks
