With this TeraFlex spare tire mounting kit, a spare tire up to 37" can be stored and stay safe on the roughest trails. It allows for quick and easy access to rear cargo with just one hand. This tire mount is heavy duty and constructed to support the weight of a full-size spare tire. It securely mounts it to the tailgate and the TeraFlex HD hinged carrier. It is adjustable vertically and can be adjusted fore and aft as well. It is heavily gusseted and has been welded and formed from laser-cut steel for maximum strength and durability. It is used with the TeraFlex HD hinged carrier and can be installed separately from it. If it is installed without that carrier, use a tire up to 35"". This kit fits the 5 x 5.5"" wheel bolt pattern, not the factory JK bolt pattern. It will work with wheels with backspacing of 5" or less. For wheels with backspacing of more than 5", a wheel spacer is available separately. Mount a spare securely with this kit and keep going on extreme trails.
