Teraflex Falcon Series 3.3 Adjustable Piggyback Shocks Front & Rear Kit 5-6in Lift
JK 4DR

Features & Product Details
As with all Falcon shocks, the Falcon series 3.3 Adjustable Piggyback Shock was designed to offer exceptional vehicle stability. It was designed to offer race inspired performance and handling and still meet the specific requirement of the Jeep Wrangler. In the past shocks were adapted and had minimal tuning and with no specific designs for a specific application. The Falcon Shocks aim to change that mentality. The Falcon series 3.3 have been built from the ground up and they are corner specific. They have been designed with the highest damping characteristics there can ever be with fitment and function being the top priorities.
The development of the Falcon series 3.3 was long but bore fruits for the ready Jeep market. The shocks at the front have a unique piggyback design that has a reservoir that is positioned horizontally so as to increase clearance in case of large tires when turning and during articulation. The shocks at the rear end usually position the body and the reservoir at the bottom so as to minimize and eliminate shaft damage from rocks that might be kicked up by the tires. With an outboard mounting that increases clearance for vehicles that are lifted and have raised track bar brackets. The Falcon series 3.3 feature Red Line full synthetic shock oil that offer superior performance at any temperature and to reduce shock fade. The synthetic formula also contains special anti-wear and lubricity agents that usually produce excellent thermal stability. The Falcon series 3.3 is available in a number of performance levels and they also come in adjustable or non-adjustable versions.
The Falcon series 3.3 have plenty of benefits including the fact that it increases vehicle stability, they also improve dynamic roll control and also improved low speed damping. They are also have optimum fitment for full suspension travel and articulation. At the front the offset stud design usually creates additional frame clearance. It is also the largest shock body that will fit without need of modifications. They are manufactured from 6061 aluminum hard anodized shock tube that usually resists wear. They also have smooth honed internal shock body surface that offers long term performance. The shaft is ¾ inches to prevent it from buckling. The shaft is induction hardened so that it can resist damage and corrosion. It is also constructed from aluminum that allows for maximum heat dissipation. Their fitment as well as function are the top priority. They can fit all JK Wrangler models including the Unlimited and the Rubicon. It also comes with a three year warranty.
*NOTE - Due to varying lift heights we always recommend you measure the shock length you need to ensure proper fitment on your application*

I shopped long and hard before finally settling on these Falcon shocks. I was concerned about reports of harsh ride, criticism of digression valving. I was considering King, Accu-tune, etc. In the end, I threw my lot in with TeraFlex. They gambled on our niche market and I chose to support them. I am VERY satisfied with the shocks, pair with my Metal Cloak Game Changer suspension. Perfect performance. I live in Montana and was concerned that SP2 was not yet an option for my JK. Ultimately I would not be interested in a softer option, even in the Winter up here. These perform perfectly.
I went from Fox performance 2.0 to Falcon 3.3 piggy backs. Night and day difference. My Fox shocks arent even in the same category. Falcons ride better on all settings and I actually feel a difference in softness and firmness settings. I looked at King shocks aswell. The 3.3 piggy backs have more shock travel than fox and King in the size I was looking at. I have the 4-6 inch Falcon 3.3 and both front and back have 12.30 inches of shock travel. Go look at other brands and compare for yourself. Love the design of these shocks and the offset top post on the front shocks is a very smart idea. You will not be disappointed in these shocks. One of the best upgrades I've done to my jeep. Worth every penny.
These shocks are amazing!!! I chose to go with Metalcloak 3.5 gamechanger for my jeep but wanted something adjustable for shock. These ride nice and smooth and have nice adjustment to fine tune the ride. I'm soo happy I went with these. Easy to install.....just take your time. I'm planning on getting the rear brackets for extra protection. I should have got them right away but just wasnt thinking. Great product....I'd recommended them to anyone!
For anyone considering purchasing the Falcon 3.3 Shocks, I simply have one piece of advice, DO IT! They will not disappoint. I have the AEV Dualsport 2.5 lift installed on my JK Unlimited for around 6 months now but something wasn’t quite right with the ride. That is where the Falcon 3.3’s come in. This is how a kit is supposed to ride out of the box. By far the best riding shock I have ever had the opportunity to install and ride on. They perform both on road and off so even your mall crawler will thank you when you run over the speed bumps trying to beat the Prius to get that elusive first row parking spot at the next big sale at the local mall. I tried them on settings 1 and 3 first that are pre-set from Falcon and it was an immediate improvement over the Bilsteins that I was used to riding on but I wanted more control. The 2nd setting that allows you to dial in even more is where I found myself making the most improvements to ride quality. Even making a single adjustment on the dial is noticeable on and off road. My perfect setting is with the selector switch in the 2nd position and the dial in the 5th position and it’s like riding on pillows going down the road. I would dare to compare it to many of the luxury brands out there and dare say that it will ride better. I truly believe that these shocks should come with EVERY lift kit on the market as a standard option. You guys nailed it and I would give it 7 out of 5 stars.
