AEV 2.5in DualSport XT Suspension System - JK 4DR
Features & Product Details
The AEV DualSport 2.5” XT Suspension System appeals to owners who want the added highway, and trail performance of AEV’s taller 3.5”, and 4.5” DualSport Systems, but with reduced height. And just like the 3.5 and 4.5 systems, painstaking attention was paid to both tuning and geometry in the new system. Specially tuned coils and shocks have been designed to the needs of the new lower system, and the result is a new frequency-tuned triple rate coils at all four corners, and custom-tuned Bilstein shocks matched to the coils.
Additionally, AEV tested the new system for both cornering and braking, and determined that a new geometry-corrected rear Track-Arm tower would be needed to help create the kind of handling AEV suspension systems are expected to have.
The new system is packaged out with everything else needed to complete everything. This includes a custom rear track arm, front stabilizer end link relocation brackets, bump-stop extensions, and brake line relocation brackets. All of this is combined with the springs and shocks. All of these components will deliver exceptional reliability, and a lower, user-friendly lift height.
No exhaust modifications are required when running this kit, and users can employ up to a 35” tire.

I put this on my Rubicon Recon to give me some extra room for 35s along with the geometry correction brackets. This did the trick without making my Jeep too crazy. The handling actually does seem to be improved from stock and my Jeep looks awesome.

A: This is the wrong kit for the JL. The JL version for the 4 door is here: https://www.northridge4x4.com/part/2-5in-lifts/n0724100ab-aev-2-5in-dualsport-rt-suspension-system It will work with your 2021 as long as it is a gas model. They are currently working on designing new springs for the diesel models.

A: If you are using stock wheels, you will want to also get wheel spacers. Other than that, nothing is needed.
