I purchased this drive shaft because I wanted something stronger than stock. After installing this driveshaft within 10k miles the cv joint is worn out. You cannot get replacement cv joints for this and they are bigger than stock ones. Spicer does not have a part number for them and does not sell them. The only joint replaceable is the 1350 u joint at the end. So if the cv joint goes you will need to purchase a new drive shaft as per spicer. Not worth it!!!!!!
As the title says, bolted right in. I already had a carrier drop so I just re-used that. I thought this was also supposed to come with one? My driveshaft got toasted on some rocks. Within a week this one was bouncing off rocks and is holding up a lot better than stock. Only time will tell but it seems to be much beefier as advertised.

Q: Technical question Dave7401 year ago
The product description states that this driveshaft will "accommodate vehicles lifted to 6.5 inches." Does that include vehicles lifted less than 6.5" or only vehicles lifted to that height? My JT is lifted 3 inches.
