AEV Rear Vision System w/ Mirror Display

The AEV Rear Vision Camera System with Mirror Display makes backing up easy and helps drivers be more alert of their surroundings. The AEV Rear Vision System utilizes an OEM validated camera with CCD technology that provides the driver with clear daytime visibility, and enough brightness in the nighttime to clearly distinguish what lies behind the vehicle. 

The mounting design of the camera provides enough clearance to protect the camera from potential harmful impacts and elements that can be found on the trail, while still delivering an exceptional field of vision. This system will work for vehicles that come with either factory navigation, or the standard stereo system. However those with factory navigation can enjoy the benefits of seamless camera integration that uses the OE display screen as a monitor while the vehicle is in reverse. Included in this kit is a programming module that temporarily plugs into the JK’s OBDII port to program the radio, saving you the need to go to the dealer to get this process done.

For drivers that have a standard stereo system in their vehicle, they will receive a vehicle specific auto-dimming mirror that features a hidden 3.5” TFT LCD monitor that activates as soon as the vehicle gets puts into reverse. 
Both systems are designed to work with an AEV Tire Carrier, and will include an all new second generation Center High-Mounted Stop Light that will come pre-installed on top of the camera mount.  The camera mounting bracket itself will install behind the spare tire, and is designed to work with all AEV wheels, as well as most factory five spoke wheels.
