Artec Industries' NEW JL Bellypan is designed to give your 2018+ Jeep JLU Wrangler 2.0L Turbo full protection underneath the vehicle. Designed using CAD files directly from the manufacturer, this belly pan skid plate ensures that you have a great fit with factory components. Made from 1/4" thick 6061 Aluminum and 3/16" zinc plated Steel, and CNC cut and formed, the Artec JL Bellypan Kit offers both a strong and lightweight solution for your new Jeep JL.

Adds only 15 lbs to net weight of vehicle yet covers far more and is heavier duty than factory skids

91 lbs total weight compared to the Steel version at 163 lbs...a 44% weight savings

Increases ground clearance of 3/4" from factory skids and even more compared to other aftermarket skid plates

1/4" 6061 Aluminum for skid plates, 3/16" zinc plated steel brackets

Designed from factory CAD files for great and ultra precise fit.

CNC laser cut and CNC formed using custom rolled dies for high strength, unique look, and perfect contour fitment to OEM components.

All bolts under skid plate are countersunk for absolutely smooth bottom

All nuts are pressed into steel brackets for easy, one tool removal

Bolts directly to OEM T-case crossmember and frame using heavy duty flat head bolts that match OEM thread

No need for an aftermarket T-case crossmember for completely flat surface

Modular design lets you take off only one section for vehicle servicing

Protects Oil Pan, Transmission Pan, Gas Tank, Front Exhaust, Transfer Case, E-Torque Battery

OEM gas tank skid is replaced for reduced weight and 3/4" higher clearance*

Artec Gas tank skid can be removed without dropping entire tank thanks to new additional cross-member and tank strap.

Clearance near rear drive yoke shaft to prevent rubbing

Instructions were a bit different however i bought this is 2022 for a 2023 JLU. However, once we figured out the parts, no thanks to the instructions, the fit was awesome. This is a huge improvement to the stock skids and you wont regret it. I chatted with Northridge4x4 who called the manufacture, Artec and confirmed it would fit. I appreciate the service.

I finally got a chance to install this with my friend. The aluminum is really light but having a second set of hands around was key. The install is pretty straight forward between the instructions and the videos available on the Artec website. Really only had one hang up trying to remove the OEM strap but was able to figure it out after a few tries and some cursing. You MUST remove the bolt on the rail side in order to get enough slack in the strap to pull it down and free it from the OEM skid plate. From and instruction perspective, the only really confusing part is that the mounts for the front of the oil pan skid both only have one hole and it references two holes on the passenger side. You will also have extra bolts and spacers depending on what year you have. The perfectly smooth bottom with recessed bolt heads will be a huge improvement over the OEM bolt heads that I had almost sheared off on rocks anyway. Looking forward to trying these out at Winrock in May!

Don't freak out when you get the boxes and 2 out of 3 are marked 3.6l. the only plate that seems to be different on the 2.0 is the front (Oil Pan). These are a VERY tight fit. I did mine on the floor of my garage and had to push and pull a few times to get the holes to line up but it is a great addition to the crummy OEM skids. This is a MUST have if you are going to do any offroading. skip the sexy lights and angry eyes and get some real insurance. and get the Aluminum, one person can easily lift them.
